Running Productive Meetings
It's been said that more important decisions are made in meetings than anywhere else (even on the golf course!). You probably find that hard to believe--in view of the way most meetings are planned and conducted. This workshop will help managers, supervisors, team leaders increase meeting success through improved collaboration, communication, and consensus.

Prioritize or Agonize
This workshop focuses on the essential skills of prioritizing and time management necessary to reach personal and organizational goals. Managers will learn to identify and manage the important, the critical, and the merely diversionary and schedule for maximized performance.

Successful Project Management
Learn techniques for planning, implementing, and completing projects to produce desired results on time and within budget. You will use project management tools to set and achieve measurable objectives, estimate project time and costs, determine project scope, manage resource requirements, and control project results. Learn by doing as you actually plan, execute and control a project simulation.

Expanding Your Leadership Potential
Leaders are made, not born. Exploring and expanding your leadership skills can help you earn the respect and cooperation of others. Even if you don't currently have a traditional management position, this course will help you apply the principles of great leaders to benefit every aspect of your life.

Excel 2010: Formulas and Functions
Students will become acquainted with the Backstage view, which is new to version 2010. Students will leave with the knowledge of how to set up their spreadsheets so they can be easily understood. We will cover the basics of creating formulas. Students will work with a variety of functions that can be used in many different worksheets. Students will know how to get their workbooks printed efficiently.

Excel 2010: Shortcuts and Tips
Students work with ways to see specified parts of large worksheets, grouping worksheets to enforce consistency, and link values between worksheets and workbooks. Students will learn the power of Excel outlines and automatic sub-functions. We will create and manipulate various kinds of charts and discuss how best to use the different kinds of charts. Students will work with Excels comments, conditional formatting, and Autofilter. Students will create and use a template.

Excel 2010: Applying Powerful Conditional Features
Create conditional functions using IF, COUNTIF, SUMIF, MATCH and INDEX. Use the Excel table features. Create and modify Pivot Tables. Learn the ins and outs of data validation and consolidation. Create simple macros.

Database Features of Excel
While Excel is not a relational database system, many people export from a database to Excel to use its powerful database features. This class assumes students will know the basics of Excel, such as creating formulas, functions, links, and formatting. Students will start off learning all the tricks of sorting, work with extracting records that match criteria, and finish with PivotTables and PivotCharts. Students will learn the value and use of the database functions within Excel. Sparklines and PivotTables splicers, new features in Excel 2010, will be covered.

Taking Communication to the Next Level
Team leaders will learn the core communication skills effective in all types of communication, but especially in one-on-one conversations with management, peers, and team members.

Secrets of Dynamic Presentations
Making presentations that motivate your audience without high tech tools or gimmicks can increase your effectiveness in the workforce and promote your self-esteem. The ability to express facts and information in a pertinent and engaging manner is a crucial part of delivering an effective presentation.
