About MEP
The Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) is a nationwide network of not-for-profit Centers in over 400 locations nationwide. MEP makes it possible for even the smallest firms to tap into the expertise of knowledgeable manufacturing and business specialists all over the U.S. These are people who have had experience on manufacturing floors and in plant operations.
NBDC/MEP consultants have worked with companies ranging in size from one employee to hundreds of employees. The degree and type of assistance provided to each client is based on the particular need of that manufacturer. Many firms begin with simply an assessment of their current operation and an exploration of opportunities for improvement.
While there are a number of other businesses and organizations that provide Lean training and services in Nebraska, NBDC is the exclusive NIST/MEP-CERTIFIED LEAN service provider in the state.
