Lean Office/Administration Kaizen
and Workshop

This Lean manufacturing kaizen/workshop is available to your company as custom or on-site training. Call 402-564-0105 to determine times, dates, and location to fit your schedule.

LEARN WASTE REDUCTION
Lean enterprise office administration identifies and eliminates unnecessary steps in paper work and information flow. Sometimes weeks can be trimmed from document processing time. In this new workshop, you can learn how to apply these Lean enterprise techniques to streamline your office process and achieve pretty dramatic savings! (see sidebar)

HANDS-ON TRAINING
In our nationally-developed Lean enterprise workshops led by experienced NIST/MEP certified facilitators, you will get hands-on training in Lean Office principles and their practical application. You will:

  • Explore the benefits of a Lean office in comparison to a traditional office.
  • Learn about the “Eight Wastes” and how to minimize or eliminate them using Lean techniques.
  • Identify non-value-added actions and learn how to eliminate them from the flow.
  • Discover how Lean positively affects quality, cost, delivery and service targets.

LEAN SIMULATION
The Lean office workshop and kaizen is a mix of classroom lecture with hands-on exercise. After learning how to identify wastes in class, students will then use Lean tools in a simulation setting to streamline and improve a real-life traditional paperwork flow.
