First Steps in Government Contracting

 NO FEES  Government contracting can be daunting for beginners. Each agency has it's own regulations and requirements for compliance. We can help you avoid mistakes that can cost you time, money, and opportunities.

1. Contact us to arrange a meeting

We can help you determine whether government contracting is right for your business. Contact a consultant in your area to discuss your opportunities, then fill out the Client Application. Please be patient! Comprehensive form (PDF) may take time to load.

2. Find out what programs match your company

Are you familiar with certifications like Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), or HUBZone? We will explain these programs, help determine if they match your company and help you get certification.

3. Register your business

Registration is required by many agencies.We will assist your company with registering correctly in the right locations (town, city, county, state and federal agencies).

NBDC's Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is a non-profit organization offering free counseling services to businesses in Nebraska wishing to compete and win contracts with the government, and nominal fee-based services for locating daily bidding opportunities.

NBDC's Procurement Technical Assistance Center does not award contracts, nor does is guarantee that the client will receive any contracts. In the event of a dispute between the client and a government agency, NBDC/PTAC will not be held accountable.
