Writing a Winning Commercialization Plan

This workshop is designed for companies that either anticipate submitting a Phase 1 SBIR proposal to civilian agencies and/or that wish to increase the likelihood of commercialization success. 

Topics include:

(1) A review of fundamental concepts including commercialization, commercial potential, and commercialization strategies.

(2) A review of Phase 2 commercialization plan guidelines for civilian agencies,

(3) Clarification of what constitutes a compelling business case,

(4) Do's and Don'ts of commercialization plans,

(5) Issues that every company should address during Phase 1.  

All participants will engage in some consideration of commercialization strategies as they apply to their technology. 

This is a free workshop, however registration is required.

This workshop is being offered through the Virtual Business Accelerator of the Silicon Prairie (VBA-SP), a partnership of the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) and Dawnbreaker, Inc., to provide technology commercialization assistance to Nebraska researchers, entrepreneurs and businesses and advance innovation occurring in Nebraska.
